Since everything in this world has an opposite, so do limiting beliefs. In come Empowering Beliefs.
These are also the WHY behind how you react to scenarios, but the positive ways. Here’s another example from myself.
My Father was an alcoholic, it’s how he dealt with discomfort and vulnerability, not the greatest problem solving skill to be certain. However, because of this, I would use a myriad of ways to try and convince him to quit drinking. From talking, yelling, being stern, action (crying, running away), and eventually, I started writing to him.
I recognized that he had several ‘characters’ or moods, and I would speak to them each differently to varying degrees of success. This helped me understand communication really well (social cues, perspective, speaking, and writing).
So, despite the very real and shitty experience of growing up with an alcoholic Father, I gained the empowering belief of communication.
